All-In FORE Veterans

The 19th Annual Golf Tournament FORE Veterans was, yet again, a major success. For 19-years this tournament has invested in the futures of our Veterans! With this event and BB&B being so close to each other, our team is fueled and ready to end the year on a strong note with even more impact to be had looking to 2025.

THANK YOU

to all of you who have invested their time & money into our cause this fall. Your contributions continue to be invested into the men and women who invested in US and our country!

SSV Awarded Inaugural 256 Today
"Innovator Award"

The Innovator Awards is a North Alabama event dedicated to honoring those who work to support and protect the United States of America. Still Serving Veterans graciously accepted the first Innovator Award for "Nonprofit of the Year."

Navigating the Transition Wilderness Workshop - Ft. Moore Area

Our recent Navigating the Transition Wilderness Workshop was a resounding success.

Two former clients shared inspiring stories of their successful transitions into new roles at companies offering career skills programs (CSPS) and employment opportunities. Their experiences sparked engaging conversations among current workshop participants. SSV has found these open discussions go well "after-hours" and be immensely rewarding for Vets.

Operation Green Light

This is a nationwide effort uniting counties to support military Veterans led by the National Association of Counties. In addition to lighting county buildings, residents and businesses are encouraged to participate by simply changing the exterior light bulb of their home to a green bulb. Shining a green light lets our Veterans know they are seen, appreciated, and supported.

A limited number of green lights are available at the SSV main office on Clinton Ave W in Huntsville.

In Madison County, Alabama, where SSV is headquartered - Commissioner Violet Edwards is spearheading this campaign.

"Operation Green Light is a gesture of support and appreciation for the public service of our Veterans," said Commissioner Edwards. "With hundreds of counties coming together to light everything from bridges to courthouses, we know Veterans across the country will see and feel the gratitude we all feel for their service and sacrifices."

I Defend Veteran Services

Make a Statement!

New this October, monthly donors who contribute more than $20 a month, will get a Mission Defender Tumbler - proudly stating that you invest and protect Veteran services!

Now more than ever before, monthly donors are helping SSV reach more Vets at a consistent rate. When you donate monthly, we can forecast and build our programs to better serve the men and women transitioning out of the service.

A Partner Veterans Can Count On

Our friends at Intrepid have consistently stepped up and supported our Veterans. Whether through games at government symposiums, their Ideal Community Fund or supporting the Golf Tournament FORE SSV, we are truly thankful for this consistent partnership that has enabled our team to help Veterans with VA Benefits, Employment and other support resources!
