Veteran Support Network

There are several nonprofits and community organizations that provide services for veterans and their families in North Alabama. The trouble is, they're sometimes hard to find and some have more resources to help than others.

That's why Still Serving Veterans’ Huntsville, AL office specializes in connecting Veterans with local veteran resources, including VA benefits and health care options. We connect Veterans who need help or access to resources, to those in the community who want and are able to help.

If you or a family member have a need (ex. I need help with food insecurities or paying a bill) or even just questions about anything Veteran or Military related…make an appointment to talk with a support coordinator. We will do everything we can to help.

Once you submit the appointment request form, we will contact you within 24 - 48 business hours to ask you a few questions to better connect you with the right coordinator, and then schedule an appointment that’s convenient for you.

Please note, you will need a copy of your DD-214, documentation of your need and have served a minimum of 90-days beyond Basic Training to qualify for direct assistance from SSV. Your discharge must be Honorable or “General.”

On the day of the appointment, you will meet one-on-one with a coordinator, who will do everything they can to answer your questions and provide the support you need, whether it's navigating Department of Veterans Affairs resources, understanding service-connected benefits, or accessing local support programs.
