Monthly Donations

Their service may have ended, but our commitment to them never will.

With a monthly donation, you will be one of SSV's "Mission Defenders" and invest in Veterans' futures. Your support helps us assist more transitioning service members and Veterans nationwide.

Did you know Veterans often pay between $250-$1,800 for resume & other job-related help as they leave the military? SSV covers these costs and never charges Veterans. Instead, we provide free:

  • Resume/Cover Letter Optimization

  • Interview Skill Sessions

  • Connecting Vets/Transitioning Military with Veteran-Friendly Employers

  • Salary Negotiations

  • Job Search Planning

Want to make sure SSV is the right fit? We’ve been around for 18-years! Check our Great NonProfits page here.

"SSV helped me see and realize that I have a multitude of experiences that I didn't know about or didn't think that it was relevant or I have completely forgotten about.”

Year-end Donation Tips

For Tax Credit - Please make online donations via ssv.org/donations before midnight December 31 or make sure mailed checks are postmarked no later than December 31.

Qualified Charitable Distribution as IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) - If you reached age 70 ½ in 2020 or later the IRS requires you to take your first RMD by April 1 of the year after you reach 72.  And every following year you must take the RMD from your tax-deferred retirement accounts. You can donate a "Qualified Charitable Distribution" to Still Serving Veterans (or another 501(c)3) of your "Required Minimum Distribution" and avoid having your RMD added to your taxable income. Please discuss options with your tax advisor.

Your support for Still Serving Veterans is always appreciated!
