Investing In Veterans One Cup at a Time

Some would say there are few things better than a cool cup of lemonade on a warm summer's day, especially in the South! Young Olivia in Huntsville, Alabama spent her 4th of July giving back to Veterans by setting up a lemonade stand in her neighborhood. Olivia may very well be the youngest SSV donor ever! SSV is 18-years young. So this is history-making none the less.

Olivia and her mother met with SSV leadership shortly after Olivia's highly successful FRESH home-made lemonade sold-out. Olivia delivered a check totaling $334. Her donation will go towards the SSV Veteran Support Network which helps Veterans in need with things like utility bills.

The team here at SSV is honored that Olivia took time on a scorcher of a day to give back to Vets!

Monthly Donor Spotlight

Steve Hartley, monthly donor and Still Serving Veterans career counselor.

"As a Veteran myself, I understand the difficulties of the transition process. Still Serving Veterans provides an amazing service for a cause that I deeply care about and empathize with. More importantly, they do it out of genuine compassion for helping our service members. They are a tremendous group of folks with a big heart"
