Navy Cycling Raising Money for SSV

Jamie Sherrard is biking down the whole state of Alabama to raise funds for SSV! His goal is $25,000!!!

Jamie had this to say:

"It means a lot to me that you are here to offer your support for a cause that I care deeply about. Still Serving Veterans supports Veterans in Need throughout North Alabama by paying a month's rent, a utility bill, a home repair, and/or providing grocery store gift cards for Veterans who are dealing with an unexpected financial crisis. Every dollar raised will go directly to support a Veteran in Need. Please help me support these Veterans who have given so much, often at a great personal cost."

Mission Transition Success Stories

Identity When Leaving the Military

Kerchell, US veteran, in her post-military civilian life.

The internal battle to redefine yourself while navigating the civilian job market brings added layers of difficulty to life and a successful transition. Kerchell’s journey is a reminder that while Veterans bring a wealth of skills and experiences, it often takes time and support to reframe these strengths in a civilian context.

"...I lost confidence in myself and required some coaching and mentoring to assist with identifying the best career option," she recalls.
