Happy Holidays to Our Veterans, Their Families & SSV Supporters!

A Message from SSV Leadership

Dear Friends of SSV,

Rich Landolt, Still Serving Veterans' President and CEO.

Rich Landolt
SSV President/CEO

2024 was an innovative year full of huge growth and impact. We increased our total number of Veterans hired by 19%, making sure they had quality employment while also ensuring our VA clients received the benefits they deserve. The impact this has on our clients and the local economy they contribute to cannot be overstated. For a closer look at our results, check out the impact numbers later in this newsletter.

2025 promises to bring even more expansion with new team members in new locations. We are thrilled to see our team in the Fort Moore area move to Columbus, Georgia to start 2025! Additionally, our leadership and board are in the early stages of executing a new 5- year Strategic Plan. SSV is laser-focused on finding innovative ways to reach more Veterans while changing lives. This dedication was recognized when our team was honored with the Innovator Award earlier this year.

However, our team can't do what it does without you. SSV exists because our supporters believe in us and our mission. Cheers to more success and continuing to make military transitions good for the service members and their families.

Mission Transition Success Stories

Our Mission Starts With Security and Ends with Healthy Families

Armaris, Navy veteran, with his wife and kids.

Amaris left the Navy as an E-8. She knew she had options, but felt a little overwhelmed on where and how to start her civilian job search. Having a family brings the pressure to the forefront when you leave the military. Every transition is different, but the feelings often can be the same.

“I owe my smooth transition into the DOD contracting sector largely to SSV. They not only helped me craft a resume that truly showcases my experience, but they also taught me the process so that I can assist others in the future. “

- Amaris G.

Happy Holidays!

As we wrap up the year, I wanted to share a good idea:

Are you aware that you can make monthly recurring donations to your favorite charity through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF)? It's really simple to set up, and if you don't have one already, contact your Financial Advisor.

As a Air Force Veteran and a member of the SSV board, I am aware of the impact SSV has on Veterans both in North Alabama and across the U.S. My husband Tom also is an Air Force Veteran and we have pledged our charitable support to Veterans organizations- we can't think of an organization with greater impact than SSV!

Please join me in becoming an SSV "Mission Defender" monthly donor! Together we will assure that all Veterans receive the support they need without ever paying a fee.
