City of Opelika Veterans Breakfast and WWI Armistice Celebration

Join us at the City of Opelika VETERANS & WWI CELEBRATION

The celebration is free and open to public! Bring a chair or blanket to sit on while you celebrate.

Speaker: Dr. Marty Olliff, “Armistice Day and Commemoration of the Great War” 
Live Entertainment: Opelika Ovations & New American Freedom Train Band
New American Freedom Train Band led by Army Veteran and Nashville recording artist Tim Maggart
Special Guest: Auburn University Southeastern Raptor Center, Golden Eagle “Aurea” 

The event will be followed by a Veterans RECEPTION, including military displays and refreshments. The reception begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Museum of East Alabama {121 South 9th Street, Opelika}

If it rains, the event will be moved to First Baptist Church {The 3:16 Center), 301 S. 8th Street.
