Alabama A&M University Athletics is inviting All active duty, retired, and veterans to watch the Mighty Bulldogs take on Grambling State University on Saturday November 10, 2018, 1pm at the Legendary Lewis Crews Stadium on the beautiful campus of Alabama A&M University. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 12:30 pm. During the ceremony All Veterans will be recognized. George Baker, Retired Army Veteran and a 1981 graduate of AAMU and a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26 in Huntsville, Alabama will do the coin toss. I invite one or two members from your organization to join me on the field. The Athletics department is also allowing Veterans Organizations to set up a booth in front of the stadium to provide information about our organizations. We want to make this a Hugh success, so we can get the word out and continue serving Veterans in North Alabama and the surrounding communities. The University says it's a small gesture compared to what our military men and women – and their families – sacrifice to protect our country and keep us free. But the Bulldog family is proud nonetheless to be able to show our gratitude. To receive a complimentary ticket and a Tee Shirt, all you have to do is present your military ID at any of the stadium gates. However, I don’t think parking will be free. We are expecting a great crowd and a BIG win! Go Bulldogs!
