Still Serving Veterans Awarded 2025 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion

Still Serving Veterans is proud to announce that we have once again been honored with the HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor for 2025. This year marks a special milestone, as SSV has received this prestigious recognition every year since the program’s inception in 2019.

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level award that recognizes employers for their commitment to recruiting, employing, and retaining Veterans. The Platinum level represents the highest standards of dedication to Veteran employment and support.

What it Takes

To receive the Platinum Medallion, organizations must meet rigorous benchmarks demonstrating excellence in Veteran employment practices, including:

• HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion:

  • 10% or more of new hires are Veterans OR 85% or more Veteran employee retention rate

  • 10% or more of total employees are Veterans

  • Must offer at least TWO Veteran integration assistance programs

These standards reflect the same values that drive SSV’s mission — empowering Veterans and their families to build meaningful, fulfilling lives through career support, benefits assistance, and community connection.
