Event takes place from 0900 - 1400. This one of a kind event is part of the American Freedom Foundation's nationwide initiative to help Veterans, transitioning military service members and military spouses find meaningful employment. The event will bring together major companies from around the country to provide employment opportunities for our military community. Attendees have the chance to talk with employers, submit qualifications, participate in job interviews, have their resumes reviewed and participate in a rotating schedule of professional development workshops led by subject matter experts on transition from military to civilian life.

About Still Serving Veterans
Still Serving Veterans is a Veteran Service Organization headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama whose mission is to serve and honor Veterans and their families, transitioning military, and members of the Guards and Reserves by assisting them in securing meaningful employments and the Veterans benefits they have earned. All services provided at no charge. Founded in 2006, SSV has served more than 59,000 Veterans and their families nationally. Since 2007, SSV has secured over $519 million in cumulative additional benefits, services, and salaries for their Veteran clients. In 2017, SSV’s professional counselors conducted 15,526 one-on-one counseling sessions and helped secure meaningful new careers for 850 Veterans, which yielded over $33.53 million in new salaries, benefits, and services. SSV is also received the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics, the Nonprofit of the Year for the Huntsville/Madison Chamber of Commerce and the Madison Chamber of Commerce. SSV was awarded the Platinum seal of Transparency from Guidestar and was selected Best in Business, Non-profit category for 2018.
