LinkedIn can play an important role in your civilian job search, helping employers and recruiters understand your experience before you ever speak with them.

This free virtual workshop from Still Serving Veterans will show veterans, service members, and military spouses how to create a stronger LinkedIn presence and use the platform more effectively when searching for jobs, connecting with employers, and growing their professional network.

Workshop Focus

Participants will explore practical ways to improve their LinkedIn profiles and make them more relevant to civilian employers. Topics may include:

• Creating a polished and complete profile
• Translating military experience into language civilian employers understand
• Highlighting the skills and experience most relevant to your goals
• Identifying and correcting common profile mistakes
• Improving visibility with recruiters and hiring managers
• Using LinkedIn to support networking and job applications

What to Expect

There is no cost to attend this online workshop.

The session is open to active duty service members, Reserves, National Guard members, veterans, and military spouses.
