Job Search Strategies

Top Ten Tips to Move Your Job Search Forward
A clear, focused job search can help you find the right opportunity faster. In this one-hour online workshop, Still Serving Veterans will share practical steps for identifying your target role, building momentum, and using the right resources during your search.
Workshop Topics
This session will cover several important parts of a successful job search, including:
- Clarifying the type of job you want
- Creating a realistic plan of action
- Finding and using available resources
- Identifying people who can support your search
- Maintaining a positive mindset
- Addressing common job search obstacles
The workshop will begin with a guided discussion on these topics. Afterward, participants will have time to ask questions, discuss specific challenges, and connect with other veterans and military-affiliated job seekers. The Q&A portion may continue beyond the scheduled hour when additional support is needed.
