Meeting the Surge in Demand
Still Serving Veterans (SSV) has been growing at a steady pace for the past twenty years, but during 2025 the organization reached an inflection point of rapid growth.
After a decade of service in our Clinton Avenue location, SSV faced scheduling bottlenecks, confidentiality concerns, and physical limitations that restricted our ability to serve Veterans efficiently and with the level of dignity they deserve.
Our VA-accredited counselors needed quiet, private spaces where Veterans can feel safe sharing deeply personal, and sometimes traumatic, experiences as part of their disability claims.
OUR STRATEGIC VISION
Securing the Future at 430 Wynn Drive
Our new Wynn Drive facility has allowed SSV to increase our impact by providing meeting space, staff offices, and additional capacity for volunteers and community collaborations. It has improved accessibility for Veterans with mobility challenges and enhanced the welcoming environment we strive to offer every person who walks through our doors.
430 Wynn Drive is centrally located, and our new building is near major thoroughfares, making it easy for Veterans and their families to find.
This move has not been a luxury, but a strategic necessity to sustain and scale the high-quality, no-cost services that Veterans and their families rely on.
