For veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses, LinkedIn can help present your experience clearly and make it easier for employers to understand the value you bring.

This no-cost virtual workshop from Still Serving Veterans will cover practical tips for building a professional, approachable, and informative LinkedIn profile. The session will focus on what to include, what to avoid, and how to use your profile to support your civilian career goals.

Participants will learn how to improve their LinkedIn presence so it better supports their job search. Topics may include:

• Highlighting military experience in a way civilian employers can understand
• Avoiding common LinkedIn profile mistakes
• Using LinkedIn to support networking and job applications
• Presenting your skills, background, and goals clearly
• Making a stronger first impression when employers search for you online

What to Expect

This online workshop is offered at no cost to veterans and military spouses.

The session is open to active duty service members, members of the Reserves and National Guard, veterans, and military spouses.

If you have a job description for a position you are interested in, bring it with you. The Still Serving Veterans team can use it to provide more specific tips related to the type of role you are pursuing.
