A Campaign that Never Ends

Military Appreciation Month may mean different things to different people. At Still Serving Veterans, the appreciation of service members is the very foundation of which our humble non-profit exists.

Our team very well could be enjoying the benefits of other careers & employers, however, they come to SSV everyday with Veterans top of mind. We are charged with serving as many transitioning service members & Veterans as we can, while also maintaining the quality of care our service members richly deserve.

If you or someone you know is interested in investing in the success of Veterans everywhere, please consider becoming a monthly donor. Your contribution allows SSV to reach more Vets to ensure they have the tools they need to raise healthy families.

Watch our interview with WHNT-TV that goes over our 2023 impact and monthly donor campaign!

Mission Accomplished – Transition Stories

Charles, US Army

Reflecting on his journey, Charles candidly shared, “The biggest challenge was looking for a job that aligned with what I was doing in the military… I thought that since I have been a manager/supervisor for over 15 years, that I could walk right into that position.” It’s a sentiment echoed by countless transitioning Veterans navigating the intricate landscape of civilian employment.

Urns for Vets

SSV Resource Coordinator Carrie Slezak recently partnered with Stan Reese from Free Urns for Vets. This partnership is another way SSV can ensure Veterans have access to the resources they deserve. This great organization could use support right now to help families all over the US during very tragic and hard times.
